remembering what its like
to not be an ice cube 24-7. Its very vague, the memory of summer. But according to past years, it will be back eventually. It just can’t come soon enough for me. Just recently edited these pictures, so figured on day with a low of 3 degrees and my bathroom pipes freezing, today would be a good day to post them.

the evan family
I’m sure you’ll remember this fabulous family from their birth session, jake’s first birthday bash, and many other sessions over the course of the years. (the birth one was still one of my favorites to date!). Here they are in all their fabulousity once again- all coordinated and awesome! We have all come to expect no less.

the ler family
Another longtime and favorite (no, really. so many of you guys are my favorites. i have a lotta love to share!!) family. Every year we get a little closer to getting the little one off her mommy for more than 5 minutes at a time and something that looks like smiles. Getting closer… And big congrats to Dad who has been on an extremely successful weightloss journey. He looks awesome!! (believe me, I know first hand how hard it is and he’s kicking butt!!)

carolyn’s 40th birthday party
Before the end of the year, I got to photograph a surprise 40th birthday party over at the Garden City Hotel. It was a great night with lots of friends (some that I knew too), celebrating and fun. Carolyn seemed like she had a great time and really enjoyed her party. Happy 40th girl!! xo

summer baseball (yeah, you read that right)
I was (and continue to be for a little longer) sooooo woefully far behind on editing and posting in 2014, that on this snowed up day in January, you’re getting some summer baseball photos. Its kinda mean and torturey of me, I know. But wait till next week when I post the pool pictures that I never got around to either! You know how I feel about baseball, but the only bright side is that baseball=spring=no more freaking snow.
