You have NO idea how sad I am that this project is over, but someday soon-ish I’ll be able to share with you what it actually is. It’s been so fun to photograph (and eat!!) all of this fantastic food over the last two years. Can’t wait to do it all again someday!
Now for the more “fancy” part of Shea’s senior session. She rocked it! Shea had a vision of what she wanted her vibe to be for the session and I think we nailed it. This girl is going places, look out world!
There were so many awesome shots/outfits/poses with this gorgeous senior that I’m going to have to do the post in two parts. So first part is the sports & college portion. Shea is a very talented (top 50) field hockey AND lacrosse player and she will be attending Vanderbuilt for lacrosse in the fall. So obviously, smart as a whip too. It must also be nice going into senior year all settled with where she’s going next year!
In this delicious batch, we have a bruschetta tomato platter, rosemary croutons, a dutch baby with blueberries, Vanilla ice cream with honey, frozen basil with olive oil ( good for cooking with I’m told- not something I would know first hand of course), avocado toast, sourdough bread with starter and discard, & a few different herbed butters. Only one more installment of deliciousness until the project is wrapped up. What am I going to do without my taste-testing days??
After an attack by the most annoying, rotten birds ever that stole all of the food (not even kidding) while we were setting everything up, we put the chef’s vision together on the beach for a little picnic. And then I ate all the pancakes. Tell me that little seating arrangement under the umbrella isn’t calling you with a glass of wine (or several) and a good book. If there’s Brie, then that’s for me!
