bob sleeps with the fishes
Continuing with our movie theme…

Luca BrasiBob sleeps with the fishes. Gotta say he doesn’t really look too unhappy about it though. -
catching up {thanksgiving & fall}
I’m so behind on editing and posting personal photos it’s just silly. So here’s some from fall & thanksgiving that I figured I should post before it’s actually Christmas in less than two weeks. I really gotta finish the shopping!!
The leaf ones are pretty self explanatory.

Took the ones of the big boys with the new little camera. I’m definitely digging it!!

We had Thanksgiving here (as usual) but it was a fairly quiet one this year with only 13 of us. It was really a nice day, especially with Nelson here to spend Thanksgiving with us and cook the turkey! And some of the other dishes too. Only snapped a few with the new little camera, was feeling so burnt out from all the 8 gazillion holiday photos I took this year.
Wishing Nelson a very happy birthday today!
A little football between cooking.
Timmy worked hard on the place cards. Aren’t they cute?

bob goes to pilates
Keeping fit in the busy season is important for those nightly trips back to the North Pole, so Bob came along for a workout at Pilates Absession with me.
This is the part (so early in the workout) where Bob decided that “this is bullsh*t”.
A little barre work.
Ab work on the barrel.
Some pointers on his form from Karen (my trainer).
Bob has a hard time getting into tabletop but liked the Bosu. He thought it was ‘bouncy’.
Finishing up on the TRX and stretching on the tower. He didn’t like the TRX anymore than I do. Which means he hates it.
I don’t think he’ll be going back. -
lexi’s bat mitzvah
Besides the fact that I had the hardest time wrapping my head around this whole day, it was totally wonderful! The reason? Ivy (lexi’s mom) is my oldest friend since we were 8 years old. We were at eachothers Bat Mitzvahs about 100 years ago, went to camp together for 6 years, a teen tour across america together, were roommates for a year in Long Beach, in eachothers wedding parties, had babies a year apart, all those milestones and memories. And her daughter getting Bat Mitzvah’d was almost too much to comprehend! But she did, and Ivy asked me to take photos which I was more than happy to do. Get comfy, it’s a lot of pictures!
The Bat Mitzvah girl herself. Didn’t she look lovely?
Just to clarify, Ivy & Jon have been divorced for a few years now but everyone really got along great on Lexi’s special day.
Lexi’s theme was candy.
Temple Avodah in Oceanside. They don’t allow photography during the ceremony so I came before to take a few photos and then met them at the party.

Lexi’s step-family. I’m sure (if you are a blog stalker) that you’ll remember Ivy & Steve’s wedding.

A quick shout out to Warehouse 5 in Barnum Island for an amazing venue and party! I highly recommend them for your next event.

Austin cutting up the dance floor. He was at it all afternoon and was an awesome dancer!
Both sets of grandparents during the candle lighting.

Work it, gurl!
Go Jonny Fas!

Had to jump in one with Ivy!

Hope you enjoyed all the photos as much as I enjoyed being there and taking them! -
the bart girls
My gorgeous, sweet “nieces”. The oldest one is now in her freshman year in college which totally blows my mind! When John and I were just starting dating, I remember him telling me he was going to her christening to be her godfather. All the girls are so fantastic, great friends to my boys. So happy to have them and their parents in our lives! And…this was my LAST holiday session for 2011!
