jack & patrick graduate
Ok, so obviously this happened a while ago but I am still so far behind (like I haven’t even touched the pictures from our trip to Jamaica in May yet!) so I figured I should post these before they start Middle School in September!
Still cannot belive that they are done with elementary school and will be heading off to Middle School in the fall. And that they will be 11 this summer. How did any of this happen?? They are some good looking kids (if I do say so myself!) And oh my god- I can see how they will look when they graduate Harvard in this picture!! (yeah, really have to book more shoots if they are going Ivy League!) Although, they are still leaning toward Georgetown (Patrick) and Boston College (Jack) at this point.
Receiving their Presidential awards for Academic Achievement. So proud of them, and I think they were pretty proud of themselves too!!
Patrick also won the Math Olympiads award for highest scorer for 5th grade. (before his haircut!)
And some friends from school (really whoever I could grab on the way out the last day!)
Patrick and Mrs. Glass, Jack and Ms. Linker. We lucked out with the teachers this year. They were both so wonderful and really pushed the boys to do their best!
The whole 5th grade was “clapped out” by all the other students in the school. Such a great end to their time at school!
To any school parents who are checking the blog and waiting for graduation pictures that I took- hang in there, I’m working on them! Just trying to edit shoots in the order in which I took them. Another week or so, I think. -
the cord family
Another new to bsquared family who was gifted with a session by a family friend. We met up (after all of us hemming and hawing all day because of the iffy weather and the distance they were travelling to meet up with me at the beach) at Pt. Lookout and we lucked out with the weather holding out for our whole shoot.
Dad is Puerto Rican, Mom is Polish. They told me their son is officially “Polarican”. Love that.
I just loved watching the interaction between them all. So sweet and genuine.

the paig family
A little older than a newborn (he was about 2.5 months old at the time of our shoot) I was anxious to see how the shoot would go. Being that he wasn’t a tiny, squishy, sleepy newborn could have gone either way (alert, awake and happy or annoyed, cranky and awake). We got so lucky and he was just a happy little guy who was awake, alert, made great eye contact and was just generally happy. Even got a few smiles! Can’t ask for more than that.
Love me some forehead wrinkles!
Mom and Dad were totally fabulous and fun, and so easy to work with. Just like their little man.

happy 4th!
Since I have nothing particularly 4th of julyish to post today (I may later in the week. We’ll see how motivated I am to take pictures today at the beach!) I figured I’d post some pictures both from the beach and with ‘america’s pasttime’. We went to our beach club like we do every year for Fathers Day, and took my in-laws annual Christmas Card photo. So here it is, but if you are on their christmas card list, just forget you saw the pictures here.
Jack, James, Patrick, Sean, Timmy, Aidan, and Brendan. 7 grandchildren. 7 boys.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, safe 4th today and takes a moment to remember WHY we are free. We were just in Boston earlier this weekend and they will be reading the Declaration of Independence from the balcony of the Old State House today- that would’ve been so cool to catch but we’re back home already so maybe another year.

Handsome boy!
His teachers Miss Robin and Miss Ellen.
Some friends from class.
The graduate! You think he looks a little smug?
Love you my big little boy. I’m so going to be a mess for the first day of Kindergarten.
