the ligu family
Going to have to be way brief on narrative today, so please excuse my lameness. Loved these little ones and their parents- they were all so fun. Mom’s sense of style (for clothes, shoes and home) was fantastic and I loved the kids rooms especially.
Getting the two kids in one picture was virtually impossible, but they were so cute and spunky it didn’t matter. Great meeting all of you!! -
the dani cake smash
Little Miss L is celebrating the big ONE and to help make the occassion extra special her parents set up a little photoshoot for her complete with a cake smash. We had a great time wandering around the park and exploring lots of different places that Miss L found fun. Isn’t she just the cutest!?
Loved her little crawl on hands and feet so she wouldn’t scrape her knees. Gorgeous and clever!
Yeah, the hat lasted about 6 seconds. But that was long enough to get the shot!

And the cake. Love the expression on the right- like ‘is this really all for me?!”
It got way messier as the cake wore on, but she wore it well.

the bear family
This lovely little family lives in my parent’s building and I was so happy to meet them and their very new little girl. I think she was the easiest baby I ever photographed- so sleepy and so easily soothed back into sleeping when she did wake briefly.
I think they love her. Just a little bit!
This was one of those ‘inbetween’ shots, which often turn out to be my favorites. As this did. 
She gave up a ton of smiles, but it was always when I had the camera down. Finally caught one!
I was sad to hear that they were moving out of the building, but they have a big lovely new home to move into. I was going for the American Gothic look here (but don’t worry, there’s one with them smiling too)!

the pins family
The littlest one has been an on and off classmate of Timmy’s since he started at his preschool 3 years ago. Timmy just adores her (you can see why) and she is as sweet and perky as she is adorable! I was so happy when her mom scheduled a shoot because I knew I would have a great time photographing this awesome family– and I was right! Mom is one of the nicest people I know- always thinking of others and going that one step beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of.
While the pictures all look like we took them in an english garden, this was in their big, beautiful backyard. With incredible late day light.
The bigger girl’s front teeth were both hanging by a thread. I think one fell out the day after the shoot.

the boch communion
Got to take some pictures for my very good friend, M and her gorgeous family who I adore. If you are a blog stalker, you may remember that both our families were at Disney at the exact same times, staying at the exact same hotel, and many days in the same parks…all without even planning it that way. The kids are so cute and when we moved from their house to the church grounds for some additional pictures, two of them came in my car.
