    domenico’s first communion

    So glad to be photographing communions DURING communion season this year. With the right spring flowers and light instead of the fall last year. (ok, i’m happy we had ANY communions last year, but fall was just weird for communions). This little man wasn’t so thrilled with getting his picture taken during his sisters communion a few years back but was way more into it this year. They were all troupers because it was freeeeezing that day, but we got it done. Congratulations to Domenico and his family!

  • children & families,  sweet 16

    amelia is sweet 16

    And she really is! Amelia is a super sweet girl, and yes, she is actually 16. Instead of a full on party they surprised her with a dinner with a few close friends and family at a fancy restaurant. To make it extra special, they put a 16 marquee with balloons in their backyard for some pictures. I’ve been photographing this family for a few years now and totally enjoy every shoot with them! They couldn’t be any nicer!!

    ethan’s bar mitzvah

    Getting closer and closer to normal life-but not quite there yet. I had a great time photographing Ethan’s Bar Mitzvah and a brand new temple and then at Gatsby’s at Jones Beach. A real Rangers fan, we had a slight difference of opinion but got along otherwise. I heard he did an amazing job at the Bar Mitzvah service and everyone had a fun time at the brunch afterwards. The family was a joy to photograph and were troupers at the beach in the big wind, chilly temps and harsh sun. Mazel Tov!

    new project that’s yum! {part 1}

    I’m sworn to secrecy about the circumstances surrounding this shoot (someday I’ll be able to share), but I am allowed to share the pictures. Do you know how hard it is to edit these and not be starving!?
