the rote boys @ the beach & a legit excuse

Okay, okay…I know I promised last week that I would be posting every single day. I missed yesterday, but I really do have a good excuse as to why. Not only did I have the usual full day with all my kids, errands, playdates, homework, house stuff, etc., but I also had a shoot at the beach AND a shoot for the Turn in the recording studio til 1am last night. So I am feeling every second of my 39 years right now. Recording studio til 1am? Who do I think I am?? But it was sooooo fun! So interesting hearing and watching the songs get "built" and begin to come together. And taking tons of pictures, of course. I had a great time being there and the guys were as fabulous and talented and nice as ever. More on that soon, when I post their pictures from the recording studio though. See, so I really do have a good reason for not posting. But to keep on track, I’ll post twice today, so make sure you check back later today for a second post.

Now on to the "rote" kids at the beach…

Another one of my growing up squared families, I’m sure you will remember these two from shoots past. They are both movers, so getting them together in a picture, smiling and looking is quite a feat in itself! Mom and I were singing "we just got a letter" from Blues Clues at the top of our lungs, while jumping up and down (hey, whatever it takes) to get this one.

The boys were getting hungry and cranky, so we just worked as fast as we could to get in as many keepers as possible. Love all those twinkling eyes and giggles.
