    the schmi family

    Another of my very longtime, loyal and favorite families! I was so glad to see them again- and even with the pandemic, they’re so busy so I’m extra thankful we were able to get time in for a session. With fewer bugs this year! The youngest is starting at Chaminade this fall and the older one is headed back to Regis High School in NYC- I wish them both lots of luck! Sorry for the short narrative- I’m so behind on editing so I’m running straight into the next session.

    catie’s bridal shower {a pink fairytale}

    Be forewarned, a LOT of pictures ahead. There were just so many great details and special moments that I couldn’t even pick and choose. It was an amazing day for a special girl put together by the best team (her mom and sisters- I’m totally hiring them for my next party!). Not a detail was missed and everything was so beautiful!! (big shoutout to Keith at Art Flowers & Gift in RVC- the flowers and everything else they did were perfect). Austin came for a few minutes at the end to play some games and he was surprised with a cake just for him! He just got a new awesome job at RocNation that he’s super excited about so send him congrats too! His gift to Catie was a calendar of just him. A picture for every month in the corresponding costumes. It was hysterical! Even with masks, fewer guests and socially distanced partying nothing could’ve put a damper on the fun and love of the day.

    rebecca & peter get married

    This lovely couple came to me thru a photografriend who doesn’t shoot events, so I got the chance to photograph their special day! A very, very micro wedding held at the local church where they met was intimate and wonderful. The church was so pretty and the homily the priest gave was so moving.  I was limited on what I could do and where I could shoot in the church, but we made the best of that and still got some great shots. I wish them a lifetime of happiness and love!

    the silv family

    Although this year was a little different than our normal session with having to be distanced, we still had lots of fun and giggles. And beautiful light! We shot their session in their backyard, where they’ve spent about 6 months in Covid seclusion. And as a special bonus, little miss J played a piano concert just for me. She’s like a prodigy for real! Listening to live music was such a nice surprise and something thats much missed in my life! So big thanks to this little family for a great shoot and awesome concert!

    the kenn family

    This family found me when mom was my husband’s visiting nurse when he had his ankle replacement surgery earlier this year. Following that? When Alison was over (and such an amazing nurse- so easygoing, competent and super caring!) she saw all my pictures all over my house and we got to talking. She hadn’t had family photos taken in something like 15 years, so we set out to remedy that while all her girls were home. Because these days, where else would they be!? Alison brought us to the same spot she had her last set of family pictures done- I love continuity like that! The girls are all gorgeous and so different from each other, but definitely loving sisters! One of them reminds me of a mix of Michelle Pfeiffer and Paulina Porizkova- quite a mix!
