    keely’s 1st communion

My first time ever photographing this family who we’ve been friends with for SO long. I’m so glad they asked me to do some pictures for them! We did a little pre-communion session with the whole extended family at st. agnes on a really chilly day (keely was a HUGE trouper!) and then I met them for their carnival themed party at their restaurant (EAT Gastropub in Oceanside) so I got to spend a bunch of time with them all. There are a few pictures below where I could see Keely’s fun, huge personality popping thru even with the dress and the cold! Her whole entire family loves her SO much and it was so great to see them all around her for her special day!

    owen’s 1st communion

The last of the three cousins sharing a first communion day. Another fabulous, longtime bsquared family that I’m sure you’ll recognize from the blog before. Love this little guy, especially when he asks me for pictures!! His freckles are my favorite!

    ryan’s first communion

A brand new to bsquared family, celebrating their oldest’s 1st communion. He shared his big day with his two cousins, one of which I already posted here and one more still to go. He and his little brother and sister were a lot of fun to photograph and were real troupers with the crazy wind that kicked up during our session. Getting the three of them together was best done inside when everyone had just about had it with the chill and the wind, but we did it! I’m sure the party was lots of fun! Thanks for letting me capture your family, C.

    zach’s bar mitzvah- the temple

Moving right along and sticking with the religious theme- from communions to bar mitzvah’s. Zach and family have been on my blog before (in fact, they are in my header slide show) and I’ve known mom since we were little so it was such a pleasure to photograph this momentous day for them! The “temple” is really a church but it is converted to a neutral setting for other events. Except the permanent stuff on the outside which we had a little fun with. Love these boys, so much fun and personality! Part 2- the party coming up soon. There was just too much good stuff to put in one blog post or you would’ve been here for a month.
