the pana family
As a gift for their mom/grandma, this fantastic family chose a backyard session when they were all together for Annie’s high school graduation. The part of the family that was hosting the session live around the block from me so I rolled my suitcase of gear on over and shot in the pretty backyard with gorgeous light. The seemingly constant rain this year has been a huge pain and a giant bummer and caused so many sessions to be rescheduled, but when there is sun the light is amazing. So there’s that. I think mom/grandma was really happy to have all her kiddies (both grown and little) together and I hope I captured that in the photos.

Could not get enough of their curly hair.
Pretty & proud! And definitely not old enough to have those grown children, grandchildren and even one great grandchild.

Well, we tried.

Annie’s off to college in just a few short weeks.
All the grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Siblings.

Nothin but curls and gorgeous light.

jenna’s prom
So with the “leprosy” going on around here (Jack & Patrick were sick with stomach viruses for 2 weeks) I am a little behind on editing. Trying to catch up and started with Jenna’s prom. They were lucky and had a beautiful day for their prom. A little before pictures at Jenna’s house with her friends and family, and then a few at the pre-prom party at her friend Tina’s (you might remember Tina from her sweet 16 I photographed a few years ago). Everyone looked fantastic and I’ve heard it was a great night.

sarah {no more braces!}
You may recognize Miss Sarah from her Bat Mitzvah almost two years ago (wow, already? that went so fast!). Well, she recently got her braces off, so a photoshoot was in order to celebrate! And celebrate we did at a fantastic location with awesome outfits and accessories. Sarah, you look beautiful (with or without braces!) and I had a great time. Your energy was contagious!

Had a little sun flare fun.

the kell family
A brand new to bsquared family, referred to me by my high school friend Jenn (thanks Jenn!). We decided to meet halfway between us at the always lovely Manor Park in Larchmont in the evening. It was my first time shooting there in the later hours of the day and it was gorgeous! I’m having a real problem lately narrowing down the photos for the blog posts so they seem to be getting longer and longer. So get comfy and check out this little family with their amazing connection to each other (and their 3 rescue pugs, too!)

Daddy’s head doubles as an arm rest apparently.
But they sure do love each other!

Handsome guy.
The family has adopted 3 rescue pugs that they love dearly so had to get a few shots of them, too.

They were my very first family that I photographed at Manor Park that actually went down into the water. And I didn’t ask, they just went. Awesome!

Favorite!
Thanks so much for a great session!! And M- I’m so glad we’re Facebook friends now. We have a whole lot in common! -
jack & patrick graduate 8th grade
Well, they sorta did. Last week was all of the middle school graduation activities. First was awards night where some of the 8th graders received different awards for both character and academics. The boys both won an excellence in Spanish award (which is really rather ironic as Jack will be taking German next year, and Patrick Mandarin Chinese). As it turns out, that was pretty much their last event of graduation week. Thursday Jack went to the graduation party/dance as I took Patrick to an after hours doctor to be diagnosed with pink eye. In both eyes. So needless to say, he wasn’t going to the dance. The next day was graduation and earlier that morning Jack started with a raging stomach virus. So instead of infecting the whole school, they missed graduation. Which was a big bummer (at least to me) and a big disappointment that their names weren’t even announced at the ceremony (even though I did call that morning to let them know the boys were sick and wouldn’t be able to attend the ceremony). I picked up their diplomas yesterday and letting the whole event go. Moving on to high school next year and sooooo excited for them and all their new adventures.
And I think they grew again overnight. Pictures from awards night.
Patrick.
Jack.

Their friends (and Royals teammates) Johnny & Anthony both won citizenship awards. Great job by great boys!
