the sylv family
My 3rd (or possibly 4th- we all lost count!) photographing this family of boys. And now, there are 4 boys instead of 3. Very exciting, busy stuff!! Mom told me the 3rd can be really difficult but he must’ve been having a great day cause he was nothing but smiles and cooperation. A little candy bribe almost always does the trick! And the other boys- all fun and laughs!
I mean really. Look at that angellic face. How could he be trouble?!
Thanks to all of you for a great shoot!! -
the kell family & baby
My friend Lois just recently added her 4th beautiful child to her family and I was so happy she asked me to come and photograph him. We had planned a delivery room shoot and it was all cleared and set with the doctor and the hospital, but a week before her delivery a film crew was in the hospital filming a delivery where something went awry and photographers were no longer welcome. We were both SO bummed, but at least I still got to meet him when he was less than 2 weeks old, in all his toasty new deliciousness.
Don’t know why I love this one, but I do.
He liked my Justin Beiber story, but is just like his dad & grandpa and does NOT like the camera. But it sure does like him!

His belly button fell off moments after this shot.
Eye contact like this from a less than 2 week old? Yes, please.
What a beauty!
Don’t you love his new glasses?
It was more than a little chilly out, but they were all brave!
Nighty night.

What a fun shoot all around! I’m sure you remember Emily (mom) who made my fabulous pink birthday cake for my 40th birthday party (shown in the header above). Her brother was in town for Thanksgiving, so we did a whole extended family shoot including grandpa. I haven’t seen Emily’s brother since we graduated from high school where he was saludictorian (I thought he was valedictiorian this whole time!) and is obviously very, very smart. It was really nice to see him and meet his family. One of the things I love best about my job!
Em’s little sweeties. Her son is following in his uncle’s smart footsteps. The boy is amazingly intelligent.
M’s kids. Who are all so good looking and mature beyond their years in both personality and looks. The girl on the left, yeah, she’s TWELVE. No, I’m not lying.
You probably won’t believe it from the pictures, but that little one? Cried for 9/10ths of our shoot.
Yup, 5 kids. One more gorgeous than the next!
Grandpa looks pretty proud. He’s missing one in the picture, though. Tried as we might, we just couldn’t coax that little one to be in the shot.
Love that they love eachother. Brother and sister.
And brother and sister.
Ok, tell me how you really feel about our shoot!!
Thanks for a great and fun shoot!

As most of you know (and have received emails from her) I have a fabulous bsquared assistant, Jane. Not only is she the most fabulous assistant, packing the TONS of orders that have been coming in for the holiday season, but she is super kind. When she heard that our Wii bit it Thanksgiving week (which is reeeeeeally bad timing cause that thing is my savior while I have to get thru the busy season. It keeps the boys busy and happy!) she lent me theirs. Yay Jane!! You saved the day…again.
These are her equally as great kids. Ran over and did a super duper quick session for them so they have something to send out on their Christmas cards.

Thanks again Jane! We’re almost thru the worst of it!! -

My second time taking pictures for this fun little family. Love watching all the cute babies grow and Miss A is certainly no exception. She has the biggest saucer blue eyes and chubby cheeks to match. Yum! We ended up doing our shoot inside at their apartment as it was pretty chilly out, especially for a sleevless dress. Miss A turns one this week- wishing her a very happy birthday!
