the rhod family
The blog stalkers amongst you will definitely remember this multiple repeat bsquared family who I just adore taking pictures for. The kids were so great (as always) and I had a ball hanging out with them for a bit. With them being so little, and it being SO hot and humid out, crankiness set in pretty quickly (um, for ME) so we got what we could when we could.
You know how I love my ‘old school mariah carey mom’!
Twinkly eyes!
Doesn’t D look like such a big, grown up boy in this picture? And a big yay for the birthday girl!!!
Couldn’t be happier than when a picture like this comes together!

paula
Had a great time on this shoot with a brand new bsquared client. Paula was so chatty and fun, and just up for anything once I got her relaxed in front of the camera. It didn’t take long especially considering the last ‘real’ photos she had taken of her were Glamour Shots back in college! Paula’s make up by the fabulous Jennifer Duffy, who made Paula’s lovely big blue eyes just pop all the more. Thanks Jen! And thanks Paula for a really fun shoot!

the alev family
Met up with this adorable little family in Stepping Stone park in Great Neck. Its such a beautiful park, but only open to residents of Great Neck (which is unfortunate for me unless my clients are from there!) Last time I shot there I was told we needed a photography permit and I was unaware of what that meant (as in, how much it cost). As it turns out it’s free (to GN residents of course) and there’s apparently a lady with a real life typewriter who fills it out for you. Who knew real typewriters still even existed?!
Anyway, on to the cuteness of the alev family.
Thanks for being so fun and up for any suggestions during our time together. Hope you enjoy your pictures!! -
a little bbq
I know, I know. I didn’t blog all weekend and I haven’t blogged anything at all recently with the boys. I have been editing client shoots non stop and still have countless shoots to go, not to mention any personal ones. Shot the boys graduation on Thursday, a wedding on Friday (allll day Friday and friday night too), took a much needed day off on Saturday at the beach with the family, and 2 shoots today which included over 6hrs hours in the car (traffic from NJ was unbearable!) getting to those shoots.
So anyway, here are a few fun shots from a great night with amazing friends. Sharon & Dave (and Olivia and Gavin) invited us and Jen & Brian and their boys down to a bbq at their beach. It was really just a great night with perfect weather and lots of fun.
And smores. Which someone couldn’t jam into their mouths fast enough.
It somehow worked out that Jack & Gavin were a ‘team’ and Patrick and Brady were too. Automatic babysitters.
Thanks Brian for the cool angled shot! You were totally right!!
And while we were busy getting our picture taken, someone did a face plant. Too cute.
Thanks again everyone for a fun filled night!! -
the ligu family
Going to have to be way brief on narrative today, so please excuse my lameness. Loved these little ones and their parents- they were all so fun. Mom’s sense of style (for clothes, shoes and home) was fantastic and I loved the kids rooms especially.
Getting the two kids in one picture was virtually impossible, but they were so cute and spunky it didn’t matter. Great meeting all of you!!
