the cucc family
I was really looking forward to this shoot, and it didn’t dissapoint. Mom is good friends with my friend so I had heard how cute the baby was. Oh, she was!
Had the whole family all over the house and outside to get some nice shots. I think it worked.
Baby on a plate or nakey baby on a changing table? Hmmm…tough choice!
Aren’t they so cute together!?
Mom painted the beautiful tree in the baby’s room. I loved it and had to get it in a picture or two.
I hope you enjoy the pictures, cucc family! To see all of the images from this session, please click HERE.

the mich family
My friend Judy (who is the creator of Jujewels) gifted this family (mom is Judy’s sister) with a bsquared newborn session in honor of the birth of their son, and I’m so glad she did. I had a great time with them, and a squishy newborn is always fun to photograph!
Their little girl is such a total pip. Loved her and her smiles and laughs.
And the baby is delicious and so new.
We tried for some in the backyard but it was so wet from the recent rain and the mosquitos were ridiculously terrible. So we hung out inside for most of the shoot, which worked out just fine in the end.
Sailing is a big part of their lives (although that’s kinda on hold for a while with the new baby) so we had to get that in somehow.
We call this the ‘fish eye’ in our house. Love that look!!
Hope you enjoy the pictures. To see all of the images from this session, please click HERE.

radio riot @ claudio’s, greenport
After doing a newborn shoot for this family, and sitting around chatting while packing up all the newborn props, I found out that Marco is the lead singer of Radio Riot- a cover band that plays all over the area. He took a look at my Turn pictures here on the blog and after discussing it with the rest of his band, they decided to hire me for a band shoot for them.
They were playing out at Claudio’s in Greenport, and since I had a shoot in West Hampton earlier that evening, it looked like it was a good fit for the night (for those of you that follow me on Facebook, this is the last shoot of the day where I drove 243 miles leaving my house before 10am and not getting home until around 2am).
I am a big fan of Greenport (John’s parents have a house in Peconic where we go every fall for the weekend) but had never been to Claudio’s before. It was a lot of fun walking around, taking pictures and I enjoyed hearing them play, too!
They have a great rapport with the crowd and they had everyone jumping and dancing.
Thanks for the fun night, Radio Riot! To see all of the images from their shoot, please click HERE.

the wed4 family
My fourth time photographing this family, and was it ever a blast.
I’ve gotten to watch the twins grow from tiny babies to toddlers over the last year, and the little girl really blossomed and grew up into a preschooler. I really love watching my clients grow!
Ok, I know it’s the boys who are the twins, but can you believe how these two look so alike?
The family spent a month out in a beautiful rented house in West Hampton Beach and everything worked out so well with me going out there to do the shoot (originally we had been scheduled for our shoot in July but got totally rained out). And, I’m telling you after doing two shoots out that way this summer, I have decided that the Hamptons definitely get better light than anywhere else. Delicious.
Daddy gives those kids some good air! And some good love too.
Such is a life with twins. I know it well.
Beautiful family.
And my favorite picture from the shoot. Something about it just makes me smile!

the rada family
This family was gifted with a bsquared session and I was so happy that they were. Despite the fact that I was half an hour late for their session (Ok, really I did have a very good excuse. The shoot was at the Boathouse at Flushing Meadows Park on the same day & time as a Mets game and during tennis at the US Open. Both of these places are right next to the park and they had like all the roads closed that I needed to take. I just couldn’t get to the boathouse– it was like a nightmare!) we still got some fabulous shots!!
But, thankfully I did finally make it eventually and we worked the boathouse and surrounding areas including under a highway overpass to the limits.
The eyes on these boys- oh my! Deep and so sparkly.
It wasn’t really Dad’s motorcycle, but he looked like it should have been so we went with it.
Love these two shots. So different but they both just speak to me.
So fun working with you all! Thanks for the alternative directions by cell and for being SO patient with my delay.
