So glad to be asked back again for photos this year, so the staff could actually enjoy their event! As usual, the kids (and adults) had a great time with delicious bbq, the carousel, facepainting the ice cream truck and games. Its so great they put this party on every year and I’m glad I got to participate again! I even got my hand painted (it was awards night at the high school and i didn’t think Timmy would appreciate me showing up with a full face of facepaint, but it WAS VERY tempting) and had some soft serve chocolate from the ice cream man/truck. I’ll never grow up!
I met Patrick’s mom thru a University of Mississippi Facebook group- both our boys will be attending Ole Miss in just a few weeks! Apparently, mom is known as “aunt flash” among her family because she is always making them pose for pictures during family events, so she hired me so she could actually enjoy her son’s party! I hope she (and they all) did! Be seeing them all soon on campus! Congratulations to Patrick! Hotty Toddy!
After shooting a wedding but before shooting Timmy’s pre-prom party, i flew over to Olivia’s house for literally 5 minutes to take a very few quick pictures of her pre-prom party. I was in and out so fast, I didn’t even remember what photos I even took! #photogproblems But Olivia & friends all looked stunning. These are some super smart girls who are going places!
Running around between wearing the mom hat and the photographer hat at Timmy’s pre-prom was a lot, but I managed to do both somehow. The kids all had a great time at the prom, especially Timmy and his friend Ashley. The pictures of them together with the eye rolling and laughing is sooo totally their friendship!
The coordination was it’s usual ninja photographer feat, but so worth it! Lawrence found me thru my photografriend Dawn who wasn’t able to do the shoot herself, so she sent them to me. And I’m so happy she did! They were an awesome couple and can go from fierce to funny in one click of the shutter. Wishing them so many congratulations and much happiness always! Also, please thank Lawrence for his service to our country in the US Army!
