today’s photoshoot/Coach
Coach has come back to haunt me! But in a good way. For those of you who don’t know, I once worked for a shoe company that bought the licence to make Coach Footwear. I was the buyer for Coach shoes. It was a great job (most of the time) and I really miss the free footwear and big discounts on the bags and stuff. Anyway, thru the "B" family, the "M" family contacted me and asked me for a photoshoot. Someone in the family works for Coach, hence all the Coach accessories in the pictures. The family was a dream to shoot-great kids and mom, and it dosen’t hurt that they all already look like models with that blonde hair and blue eyes. I hope that I did them justice. You can see the whole album on the left hand side under "the M family".

a whole lot of games
The big boys and Daddy have been to mets games 2 nights in a row this week. They are exhausted!!! Not getting home til 10:45pm both nights, no sleep (til Brooklyn) until 11pm, up at 8 for school. But they have really been troopers-even tried to con me into watching the Mets tonight on TV instead of reading and going to bed. Here’s a recent pix of them. Don’t ask about Jack’s A’s paint-I don’t know! He really is a mets guy.
And here is a picture of Timmy the Pirate. He loved this shirt we picked up at H&M and wouldn’t let go of it the rest of the day. He likes to stick his papi (pacifier)over his eye (like an eyepatch) and say "aaaarrrrgggghhh". Then yell "Mr. Smee". The kid cracks me up.

A storyboard…
Just a sample of a storyboard. Can be done with any pictures, any arrangement, any color scheme, any embellishments. Click on the image to see the full sized version. Timmy didn’t care for the apples too much!
Here is one other I made tonight. I will be offering these as an add on item to all my photo shoots. They’re so fun!
Ok, so I’m having so much fun…I had to add one more. Plus, all the pix are of Timmy, so the boys should get their own too.

the window
Thanks Gina for suggesting that I put this on the blog- almost forgot about it! OK, so here are some pix of the window project I did. I had seen something similar in BetterHomes and Gardens Scrapbook Magazine and fell in love. It took me almost a year to actually do it-I had been hoarding windows since we did the construction on the house like 5 years ago-but I just never knew exactly what I wanted to do. I am still always on the lookout for any good old windows (yes, that does mean that I pick thru people’s garbage and scour any homes under construction- I admit it. but hey, whatever it takes to find those windows…). I also have another one that I did that I have to take pictures of to post on here. I’ll do that later this week. So here are the windows which are hanging on the stairway wall. And sorry that the quality of the pix isn’t the best. It’s a hard angle to take the pix from and there is not a whole lot of light there. The background paper behind each pane is 12×12 scrapbook paper in coordinating colors cut into strips. Then some pictures and embellishments. Some rubons applied directly to the glass fronts. Thanks for looking!

some recent shoots
Now that I received permission from my recent photoshoot families, I can post some highlights from a few recent photoshoots. There are a few from each shoot below (you can click on each picture to enlarge), but if you look on the left side column there is an album from each family’s shoots. If you are one of my recent shoots and you see any edits that you particularly like, please shoot me an email and let me know if there is something you’d like me to do. I just got a new PS program which has really helped me to try to step up my processing.
