    the kild family

This shoot was over a year in coming together. A year. Bad weather, freezing temperatures, sick kids all made us keep rescheduling (I think this may have been our 4th reschedule!) But we finally got it together on a beautiful sunny day with healthy participants and a great shoot. At last.

And with these gorgeous kids, how could it be anything but great?!

Twins. Love. Loved the sunglasses. Rockin it.

    the side family

This adorable little family came to me thru dad’s brother and his family who I also photographed earlier this year, and I was so happy to meet them. Adored their happy, easy, smiley son and they were pretty happy, easy and smiley themselves. Makes for a great shoot!

Ok, tell me you don’t love him already! He turned around at the exact right moment. Rolls and rolls of delicious baby chub. Yum. Thanks for a fun morning and for being so great- all of you!

    the powe baby

Had a quick last minute mini session for this family who I’ve taken pictures of before. I’m sure you’ll remember their adorable son and now I can introduce you to their beautiful new daughter.

Think this is probably the only time I’ve gotten a dirty look. From a dog. Smiley guy. She’s just all sweetness and light in this picture. Yum.

    the cast family

My second time doing a shoot for the amazingly wonderful (and crazy good looking) cast family, and our second beach shoot as well. They have a summer home in the Atlantic Beach area right down the block from the beach, so the beach shoot is pretty much an automatic yes!

We were rained out by the hurricane (that was really a hurricant- nothing happened that wouldn’t happen on a normal rainy day) and rescheduled. The light was fantastic and it all worked out just as it should.

    Gorgeous much?

I’m sure you remember their video from last year (you can find it here). Unfortunately, Jerry who does the videos is all layed up with a broken leg from a softball mishap this summer which requires surgery. So no video this year. Love them! Even though Daddy was my first guy ever to cry Uncle during a shoot. I’m sure lots of husbands/dad’s have thought it, but he was the first one to say it. Love them anyway. All he needs is a cigar and a cool 1940’s convertible and he’s all set to go. Full of spunk and fun and sweetness. Any better combo? And this one? I got the best hugs (all spontaneous which makes it even better) not only upon arrival, but when leaving AND even the next day when I ran into them at another beach shoot for another family. Love. A little land surfing. Complete with wipeout. Thanks for a fabulous (rescheduled) shoot!  And C? We WILL hang out this year.

    the blai family

It was like a newborn shoot. Except the newborn was a puppy instead of a baby. A gorgeous new golden retriever puppy with his gorgeous new family.

Ok, really- if the kids weren’t cute enough on their own, right?

They lost their 3 year old dog (also a golden) a few months back which was very hard on the whole family. But, they were lucky enough to get that dog’s brother. He’s so cute that he looks fake- like a stuffed animal. Love, love this sisters shot!Dad is pretty strong with all 3 of the girls hanging off of him. And how much do the girls look like their mom? And a little trampoline fun to end the shoot. Poor guy- he kept looking around in the front of the house to be sure that none of his friends were watching the photoshoot. They weren’t. Hello? Christmas card much?
