the sant family
Another repeat bsquared family who I haven’t photographed in a while but was so happy to see again. With the girls who have gotten so big and grown up, a new addition of a little boy (we became very fast friends…looooved him), and another baby on the way! Last time we did a beach shoot and this time we mixed it up with a park shoot.
Quite possibly one of my favorite shots. Ever.
Doesn’t mommy look fantastic?! They are such nice, calm, fun parents and I can’t think of anyone else better to have a 5th baby!
My new boyfriend.

The girls kept asking for a picture of the dolls. Love it.
So, so great seeing all of you again and I can’t wait to hear the news on the new baby!! Mwah!

the mane family
It was one of those days for a small someone who was participating (or not) in this shoot. He was just not in the mood for me or my camera. But somehow we managed to sneak a smile or two out of him anyway.
Mom is my friend from high school and I was so happy when she asked me to photograph her family for the second time and this time we had a new welcome addition- her stepson A.

Not only is she her mom’s clone, but she is full of spunky personality.
It was the peekaboo that worked. It usually does.
Thanks to all of you for all your help during the shoot! It’s always great to see you. Oh, and a happy birthday to young Mr. J!! -
the demi family
I was so thrilled to be booked for this multigenerational shoot out in Quogue. And I was not disappointed once I got there. Amazing home, fantastic family, awesomely coordinating clothing, and a really fun shoot all around.
And to top it all off, a waterfall on their grounds with everyone looking at the camera at once (which is NOT easy with a group this big and including little kids!)
Mom & Dad and their children- and they are also Grandma & Grandpa with their grandchildren.
Cuuuuuuteness!!!

Uncle and Aunts.
The whole group again, this time poolside.
Again, how is it that I have the best looking clients??
Everyone loves a pool bar!
Ok, really- it looks like a tropical resort, right?!

And the last one of the whole big group. It was such a pleasure- thanks so much to all of you!

the stal family
A brand new to bsquared family who I was very excited to take pictures of. They braved a pretty windy and overcast (and even a little chilly) evening at the beach to get some family pictures.
Gorgeous- and an excellent poser too!
Love this one.
Handsome boy.
Dad almost didn’t make it (I’m still not sure that he’s glad he did. You all know how the dads/husbands just looooove the picture taking process) but took the train from the city into Long Beach and a cab to Pt. Lookout. Now that’s dedication!
And this one? Well, she was challenging to get pictures of but when it was good, it was great!!
So great meeting you! Thanks for the great beach shoot.

7 for Sunday
Haven’t done one of these in a while (again) so thought I’d throw one together for your viewing/reading pleasure. At least I hope it’s pleasurable. There will be a definite lull in personal posts over the next few months, but then there will probably be a completely nauseating amount of personal posts in the slow months of Dec-March. Ok, and please note that the pictures in this post have pretty much nothing to do with the post.
1. Everyone is doing GREAT at school- big boys at Middle School, Timmy in Kindergarten. Everyone is so happy with their teachers, friends in their classes, the big boys have the whole middle school navigation and locker thing down, Timmy’s having a blast with his BFF’s in class everyday (maybe too much fun- I’ve heard they had to seperate them a few times already for talking too much!) And while I’m missing them so much during the day (especially Timmy cause I’m so used to having him around all the time) I am plowing thru editing all of my shoots and not staying up until 3am.
2. The big boys got custom Oakley’s for their birthday. So cool. But so annoyed by the camera.
3. When we went to the Giants game a few weeks ago (yeah, I know…pictures on that coming too) when we were leaving the parking lot and passing the Izod Center, they had Justin Beiber dates on the calendar. So John starts screaming in the highest and loudest voice he can manage “OMG JUSTIN BEEEEEEEEEEIBER”. To say the boys were unpleased would be slightly understating it. It was truly awesome.
4. Being sick just sucks. Especially with 7 shoots this weekend. Pushing thru with help from Motrin. And help from my very, very, VERY nice friends Suzanne who picked me up sushi after I whined about being sick and wanting it for dinner on Facebook, and to Beth for picking me up Carvel. Still felt like crap, but at least was happy and loved!
5. Closed down the beach locker yesterday. That sucks too. So hard to admit that summer is over but that pretty much covers it.
6. One of the college football ‘experts’ or whatever you call them is saying maybe it’ll be Miami vs. Florida at the Orange Bowl. For which we already have tickets. That? That would NOT suck. Well, it wouldn’t suck if Miami won. Keeping fingers crossed for that. And Robin promised she’d fly down to go with us if Miami is playing. Go ‘Canes!!!
7. After watching the VMA’s last weekend, I have a new favorite. Florence + the Machine. Damn, the girl can sing. And it was painfully obvious that most of the ‘performers’ on the VMA’s really cannot sing. At all. I did a lot of cringing that night but can say that the dancing was awesome.
Ok, off to a zillion shoots today. Wish me luck and tissues.
