caren & tim’s jamaican wedding- trash the dress

Not only is this the last installment of the uber fabulous destination wedding, but it’s probably my favorite.  Caren and Tim were so fantastic, putting up with me for one last day of shooting and getting back into their wedding attire. But really, the shoot was pretty fun!!

How about we start with a little ‘from here to eternity’?

They are really so fun! Lovely.
Caren, you rock my world! I hope all of you enjoyed the pictures from the wedding as much as I enjoyed taking them. Now, who wants to book the next destination wedding?! I’m ready!!

caren & tim’s jamaican wedding- the reception

We’ve reached the second to last installment of Caren & Tim’s awesome wedding, and now it’s time to partay!  Although about 10,000 degrees with 100,000% humidity, it didn’t slow down the revelry at all.

Started out with ‘cocktail hour’ with an awesome steel drum band.

Some speeches- one from Tim’s mom (using props and everything!)

    A few details.

Caren’s sister Beth’s speech.  Dancing with the parents. Awwww…. See, told you it was rockin! Tim took part (he was kinda the ringleader actually) of their rendition of Single Ladies. Awesome!! I think I must’ve sweated off about 50 lbs that night, but it was worth every drop of sweat! My face hurt from smiling and laughing behind the camera. Thanks for a great end to a great day!!

  • bsquared business

the bsquared calendar for Sept-December is now open!

I know a lot of you have been waiting for the calendar for the second half of the year to be open…and now it is! Here it is as of 1:37am on Tuesday 6/1, with all the available spots I am offering. You can find the “live” version here: http://www.bsquaredphotography.net/?page_id=6157, which is the updated version (I update at least once a day) so you can see what spots are gone and which are still available.

There are 7 spots still remaining on the summer schedule, so if you are interested in a summer shoot or know someone who is, please email me asap with the date & time you’d like to book.

You can find the ‘live’ calendar here: http://www.bsquaredphotography.net/?page_id=6157

    Some important notes:

    • please email me at bbeyrer1@optonline.net with the date and time you’d like for your shoot. I will get back to you as soon as possible with your confirmation.
    • all dates are first come, first given. I will reply to all emails and schedule your shoot in the order in which I receive them.
    • the last day for holiday guaranteed delivery is Sunday 11/28. Sorry, no exceptions.
    • I have 3 days (one each month) available for mini sessions.
    • I believe I will have enough days available for rain make ups if we encounter bad weather like last year where it rained every weekend. Which we’d better not!
    • beach shoots are EXTREMELY limited (I only do beach sessions at 6pm and later due to lighting conditions). There is a chance I may be able to add more dates for beach shoots in September, but I have to wait to see what the weather holds for the currently booked shoots and what my boys’s school schedule looks like. I will make a waiting list for beach shoots when there are no more dates available which will be first come, first served.

Can’t wait to take beautiful photos for all of you, both repeat and new bsquared clients!! Thank you all for making bsquared such a huge success; I’m enjoying every minute!!

    7 for Sunday

    1. LOST- I still am just as lost as I was when I started watching this show in the beginning, but I loved every minute of the 6 seasons and am SO sad it’s over. I really loved the finale and adored watching all the couples remember eachother. It was (to me) the only ‘thinking persons’ tv show on (other than Carnivale where I also didn’t know wtf was going on, but it was so good and I was (and am still) so mad when they cancelled it) and I’m waiting til season 6 comes out and thinking about a big, fat LOST marathon with the big boys this summer.

    2. Inconsiderate people  suck. Our neighbors had a garage sale last weekend and not one but 3 different people parked right in front of our driveway throughout the course of the day. It was so freakin rude and made we wish I had a big giant crappy car so I could just ram right thru their cars and into my driveway. So annoying and inconsiderate. I would never park in front of someone’s driveway. How do you do that and just walk away?

    3. ipad air hockey app is awesome. No, I don’t have the ipad but we stopped in the Apple store at the mall last weekend on our boys/mom night out and tried it out. I LOVE air hockey and that app was so cool. I want the ipad just for that!

    4. We have a bird’s nest inside our wreath hanging on the front of the house. There are even a few little blue sparrow eggs in there. So far the mommy bird and I are co-existing peacefully but I’m fully expecting to be dive bombed once the babies hatch. Holy Tippy Hendren.

    5. Went on a not so little shopping spree to B&H in the city this week and bought myself all kinds of goodies including 2 new delicious lenses. The 70-200mm 2.8L and the 100mm macro lens. Took a bunch of pictures with them but especially with the 70-200 since buying them on Tuesday. Uh….love!

    6. A bunch from the boys recent games (all taken with the 70-200). Grandpa Jack has been coming to all the boys games(and I do mean ALL the boys; Jack & Patrick’s, Timmy’s, Brendan’s & Sean’s). I think he likes it as much as they enjoy seeing him in the stands! John has been ‘coach pitching’ for Timmy’s team, and the boys had some good hits and catches in their latest game which I hung out for. They are playing so much better (yay Coach Bryan!) and the games are fun to watch. I was even upset when they called their game in the 4th inning for rain/thunder/lightening. Whoever thought I would be upset that a game was called?

    7. Jack & Patrick had their spring concert this week, and I got to use the new lens for that too! Took a few pictures from backstage too (big thanks to Beth W. for getting me back there!!). I figured it was their last concert at Hewitt so I did whatever I could to get some good shots of the drumming since they are all the way in the back it’s always hard. They did SO good at the concert and I was so proud of them! All those years of drum lessons and practice paid off for sure (thanks Jim and Hakka for getting them the lessons)! The boys also tried out for middle school band percussion this week as there are 20 elementary school drummers and only 8-12 spots in middle school to fill. I’m hoping they BOTH make it. I’ll keep you posted. And the chorus portion of the night was fantastic- especially the Lion King medley.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, sunny and safe Memorial Day weekend. Can’t believe we’re at the unofficial start of summer already! I also hope that everyone takes a few minutes at the minimum to remember the real reason for this holiday and takes the time to remember and thank the troops who have given their lives so that we can live freely and safely. And their families who support them. And all the troops who are fighting today to keep us safe.

    the ricc birthday party

Taking just a small break from Caren & Tim’s Jamaican wedding while I try to catch up on some of the 21 other outstanding shoots I have waiting to be edited. Still more to come from the wedding so stay tuned for that next week.

Check out this adorable birthday girl and her dressup/makeup/modeling/princess birthday party. She’s the daughter of my Pilates trainer who I love (Hi, Karen!!) and was seriously just as sweet as could be.

Shooting this dress up birthday party was a little different than the other ones I shot since the girls were little and so much shyer than the older girls parties I took pictures at (well, for the most part. Some of them were all about the posing.)

While others were all about the dancing.

Took a few of the birthday girl’s gorgeous brothers too.And grandparents. Such a good looking family!

And I think it’s safe to say that someone was pretty excited about her cake!

Thanks for having me over to photograph the party. I know everyone had a great time!
