scrapbooking again
Trying to get back on the scrapbook end of things here. I am up to February, so I am at least making some progress. There are so many ideas in my head about minibooks that I want to do, so I have to get at least a little caught up on my regular albums. I jumped on the ‘american crafts d-ring 12×12 binder album’ wagon and am now using those for my albums. I am still scrapping chronologically (I can’t help myself-it speaks to my anal nature) but am now scrapping in a bunch of different sizes (12×12, 8×8, 8.5×11, 6×6) and putting them all in one book. That was a big step for me, but I really like the way it looks with all of the different size pages layered on top of eachother. And I am also now throwing in all my pages into one big album instead of making one album for Jack and Patrick, one for Timmy and one family album. I’m even planning on throwing some pages about me in there! Another non-anal breakthru. Here are some of the pages in the new album.

Family photo shoot- The B family
I must be very lucky because I took some pictures for another very nice, very photogenic, easygoing family this past weekend. I think we all had fun. The kids were great sports and the parents were relaxed and happy. What a pleasure! Their album is on the left (click to view). Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.

lolliPOP
First, thanks again to Joe and Heidi for the use of their extremely photogenic backyard. Saw a similar idea on someone’s blog but I can’t remember who’s, so sorry if it was yours! Loved the idea of the "growing lollipops" and Timmy really seemed to enjoy it too. Well, until the licked pop fell in the grass. Ewww.

a little behind…
in posting new stuff here. Lots of new pictures. A photoshoot today (pix later this week). And my business cards came today!!! They are so cute-pix of those later this week too. Timmy probably has transient synovitis (don’t even ask why I know that-I diagnosed him faster than the pediatrician and orthopedist did. Jack had it when he was around 4). He is limping a bunch, but after a day on motrin he seems a little better. We have a follow up appt with the ortho later in the week. I am hoping that that is all it is. Never a dull moment. Here he is "playing doctor" after his fun day seeing 2 different doctors. He was such a good boy. He dosen’t even seem bothered by the limping- only I am.
Let’s see…I’ve been practicing like crazy with settings on the camera and trying to get my focus tack sharp. I am making some progress, but it is a slow process. Hence the zillion pictures this week of the boys- practice, practice, practice.
The boys had their "state expo" at school this week. They did so well speaking in front of all those parents. I think it must be that Beyrer speech making gene.
That’s all for now. It’s really late and I must get to bed before 1am one night this week. I have a whole slew of other pictures to post so I will get to that asap. Heading to the beach tommorrow for Fathers Day brunch.
