Santa, Santa HO! HO! HO!
We had a little visit with Santa this morning (yes, it was a very busy day!). And we all had a great time. Timmy was very nervous at first which I found surprising cause he kisses all the pictures of Santa in books we read and says "I love you, Santa" all the time. We discussed in advance that he could sit with Santa and tell him all about what he wants for Christmas (his reply was "presents!!"). But he was still very reluctant to go talk to him. I think once he saw his big brothers talking to Santa, and I went up with him, he was a little more comfortable with him. And then, Timmy started talking Lego’s with Santa, so they were best buds from then on.
And then of course on the way out, I hear "I want to see Santa again!". The big boys loved seeing him too and have asked him for some stuff that was previously not on their list. Santa better get busy on that one!

Saturday shoots: the reg girls
Here they are, the models. No, really. They are. These girls are my boys very good friends from the beach since they were about 2 years old. They have been on the blog before, over the summer, but just snapshots from the beach. But here is the real deal photoshoot. I was so happy their mom, who is my good friend, asked me to do their Christmas pictures this year. They are models in real life so they are awesome to shoot- they follow every direction to a T. And could they be any more beautiful? I had a blast, I couldn’t stop taking pictures! They even got to meet Santa as a bonus. And then they came back to our house, played the Wii with the boys (they were all so glad about that) while their mom and I built the card. Can’t wait to show you that one!

Saturday’s shoots: the wls family
There are just some children/babies/families that are SO super easy to photograph. Well, this was one of them. Not only is this family incapable of taking a bad picture, their little boy is just super cute and so happy. It was such a breeze! The hardest part was picking out which pictures to use as keepers cause they were all so good.
And the funniest part of this shoot…another 6 degrees of separation thing. They were referred to me by the Wal family who was originally referred to me by a woman who takes my scrapbook class. So this is like a 3rd generation referral. With me so far? Well, it turns out that the dad/husband of this Wsl family, his sister bought my parents house earlier this year. And he and his dad are in construction and are doing all the work on the house. Pretty funny, huh? Can’t you just hear "It’s A Small world afterall" playing in the background?

New Prices
Oh, a business post!
After much consideration I have decided to increase my prices slightly for next year, beginning January 1st, 2008. I’m sharing this information now because if you book a session for 2008 before the end of 2007, you will still pay the current prices. So if you are thinking about booking something for next year, you might want to do it before the end of 2007.
My new pricing structure:
Full Photoshoot= $125.00
Party/event shoot= $225.00
Mini-session (which will only be available during the holiday season October-December)= $75.00
If you are looking for more information on the different types of shoots listed, please look here- how to book a session. All prices are subject to change if your shoot will be with a larger group or there are other special circumstances.
I am still not advertising at all. So if you loved the pictures I took for you this year, please feel free to pass my blog address ( www.bsquaredphotography.net) on to your friends and family. Thanks!

And so it begins….
Do you see what is wrong with this picture? That maybe it says something not so Christmasy. And maybe not so appropriate? Yeah, that would be my husband. Every year since I got the SANTA (not Satan) letters to hold the stockings, I have found them in this order instead. So the house is decorated on Monday night and I come downstairs on Tuesday morning to find this. And all I can say is "and so it begins…"
It’s always an adventure.
Here’s our tree this year. The most pathetic part…do you see the adorable Pottery Barn picture frames hanging on there? Yeah, do you see they are empty? Do you know I’m a photographer? I think I should probably get on that, huh?
Finally did some Christmas shopping today. Had a blast at Target and a few stores in town (must be cryptic cause some little eyes in this house sometimes read the blog). Not even close to done yet though. I even did my own presents today. It’s just so much easier that way. And you know the only real present I want is a trip to Disney in February. Tonight’s Hannukah present was a garbage truck toy and "guy" for Timmy and the big boys got Star Wars The Complete Saga Wii game. As if they didn’t spend enough time on that Wii already.
Parent/Teacher conferences tommorrow for the big boys. Four shoots coming up this weekend. And hoping to go see Santa on Saturday morning. Busy, busy. Still.
