Sunday’s shoots: the sil family
Another branch of the infamous Sil family (another family that I seem to be turning into their own personal paparazzi- between parties, photoshoots, and christmas sessions, I am seeing these folks a lot). Which is all good, because they couldn’t be any nicer. How did I end up so lucky to get so many nice clients??
Anyway, not only did I get to photograph the immediate family, but grandparents and an aunt and uncle too. The little girl is such a pip and a total ham. I see a future in modeling. Mom is pregnant with TWINS (so you know we had a lot to talk about- I tried to convince her to get a baby nurse!) so she is going to be a very busy mom in a short while.
And by the way, it snowed here today. Snow. December 2nd. Too early. But it did look good for the pictures! Their house is decorated to the 9’s and is so, so beautiful. Just like their family.

Saturday’s shoots: the den family [mini-session]
Another of Saturday’s shoots and it was a fabulously photogenic one. These girls are so super gorgeous and quite spunky and fun. Great combination for a photographer. Plus the fact that their grandparents own a puppy store so they have three little dogs to throw in the mix. They had a great bay window in the livingroom which was just full of light= happy me. I was informed that they both want to do commercials. I think they would do great!

A sneak preview [christening]
This afternoon I had the pleasure (and I really do mean pleasure- I had so much fun!) of shooting the mcc’s family christening. I haven’t really started my post processing, but since J said I could have a few extra days to do hers since I have to get everyone’s Christmas stuff out ASAP *(thank you so much for that J!) I thought I would post one or two as a little preview. And J….I’m not taking them down, so deal with it!

Saturday’s shoots: the boe family [mini-session]
I just love these girls! And the camera really loves them. So photogenic and gorgeous. This is the baby I put up on the shelf in the bookcase many months ago. Now she’s a girl on the move. The girls were so fantastic and seem really excited about Christmas. We did the shoot at their grandparent’s house since they were already all decorated for Christmas. Mom and Dad make such a striking couple- and they didn’t even want to be in any of the pictures. But I made them. Love all those blue, blue eyes!

the pow baby- Christmas mini session
I almost feel like I am this baby’s personal paparazzi! Between the maternity session, the newborn shoot, making the birth announcement, now the Christmas mini-shoot…and then I will making the Christmas card, and also shooting her Christening later this month! I’m sure she will grow to loathe me and my camera…kinda like my own kids!
She was a total doll again today. She has really filled out since the last time I saw her when she was just 2 weeks old. But she still has those same alert, I know exactly what you are up to missy, eyes. I even managed to capture some sweet baby smiles. My only complaint…the kid dosen’t sleep! She would LOOK like she was sleeping, but it was just a lie. Everytime we moved her from the position she fell asleep in, she woke right up. And the doggie is super good too. He spent a bit of the shoot sitting right in my lap! Not easy shooting with a dog in your lap, but he was too cute to make move. Oh, and the baby HATED the hats. She got so pissed off about them, so no hat smiley pictures. Too funny. As much as she hated the hat, that’s how much the dog wanted to/tried to eat it.
So looking forward to making this card, but it’s going to be tough. Too many good shots to choose from!
