The sil family- minisession
I did pictures for this wonderful family a few times now…and went back today for a mini session for holiday cards. The mom is so nice and has sent much business my way in recent months, so thank you for everything, E. We are definitely going out, but after the holidays! The little girl got so big since the summer and the little boy is now in Kindergarten and learned so many new great things. Mom got the little girl some new RED shoes but they are about a size too big. So we got a huge laugh watching her CLOMP around with too big shoes. And then they fell off which she wasn’t happy about. But they looked great in the pictures. No one said beauty isn’t painful.

#2 for today- the per family
Today’s second shoot was a Christmas session over at (where else?) Tanglewood. I met the mom in my scrapbook class. She is as sweet as can be and is starting to drink that scrapbook coolaid! Unfortunately, the weather was a bit (well, a lot) on the cold side so we kinda had to make it quick- especially for the little girls in their adorable but sleevless dresses. Even shot a few in the coats, just cause they were so awesome! The littlest one had it toward the end, so we did pretty well considering. Hope you can find something you love for the card, K.

Two shoots today. #1- the Cull family (part two)
I did pictures a little while ago for this beautiful and sweet family over at Tanglewood. Mom asked me to come back to do some Christmas shots and pictures of the whole family (Dad was here this time- last time the pictures were a surprise for his birthday). Well, the little boy had other things in mind. Today was just NOT his day. He was very upset over a cut he got previously and there was no getting him out of his funk. His mom tried with deals and bribes, his dad tried with fun and games. Even I tried. But no luck. His mom was super- she was so happy with his pictures from the last shoot that we are just going to use those for a Christmas card. So instead of a full family picture, it will be individual shots instead. She wanted new ones because the baby changed so much in a month. So I hope what I got does the trick. And I got some cute shots of the girls in their room- it was so pink, and they are so pretty, I just couldn’t resist.
I called to check on "B" later on in the day, and his mom let me know after a nap he perked right back up to his usual self. Timing is everything, huh?

the “gom” family
This was Saturday afternoon’s family shoot. The mom is the one who owns the T-shirt company bcause i said so that I have been doing the shirt pictures for. If you get a chance, go check out her webiste. The stuff is super cute and makes great gifts. And they just started a "charitable baby" section where the newest shirts "sharing is caring" profits all go toward the pediatric cancer foundation.
Anyway, I used to work with D way back in my Jimlar Corp. days when I was the buyer for Coach shoes. She has three boys also who were so well behaved and easy to work with. A total pleasure. And all three are so handsome- each in their own individual way. The oldest is an amazing hockey player, the middle a soccer guy (and total ham for the camera) and the baby, well…he hasn’t decided on his sport quite yet. But he’s getting going with the standing alone. And we love that red hair, and the freckles too.

the “tak” family
Had a great newborn and family shoot this morning. The mom is the sister of "Mrs. Pow", so if the family looks familiar it’s because you have seen them on the blog before at their dad’s suprise party. The baby is about 3 weeks old and just a little smoosh. I even got to hold him a few times (but no baby itch for me). Mom and Dad were very ummm….pliable. They let me do just about anything I suggested (thanks for the furniture moving, J). Big sister is a total cutie and is SO 2. Just like Timmy. You can’t make her do a thing she dosen’t want to. But she was so great and friendly, and so, so super sweet to her new baby brother. Oh, and she loved her leaves!
Looking for that elusive Christmas card shot and birth announcement shot. Hope you like them and find some contenders, K.
